In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various divisions within the company, including Structural Steel, Excavating, Remediation, Demolition and the Environmental Fleet. Additionally, you may be responsible for billing for various divisions. You will also be required to generate various reports on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis.
PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLEAssist with the preparation and analysis of job cost reports for various divisions within the companyMaintain and update job cost data in the accounting system, including JDEReview and analyze job cost variancesAssist with the billing processGenerate various reports on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis as requiredAssist with the preparation of financial statements and ad-hoc analysis as neededMaking collection calls, entering collection notes in JDE, and meeting weekly with centralized collectionsPerform other duties as assignedPOSITION REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting or related field2+ years of experience in cost accountingProficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software, including JDEStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyStrong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlinesWHAT

Expected Base

Salary:
$65,000
- $70,000 per year. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
