Procom is seeking a Senior Privacy Specialist for a four month contract supporting key Information Technology initiatives. The work includes the Provincial Health Services Directory, Electronic Health Record initiatives, Provincial Viewers, and Patients before Paperwork. You will advise business teams and project groups while helping integrate privacy into project design.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop privacy policies and procedures
- Conduct low to high complexity privacy impact assessments
- Assess privacy risks affecting personal health information




- Support privacy incident investigations and patient inquiries
- Advise on information and access requests

Requirements:

- Five years conducting healthcare privacy assessments and reviews
- Five years operational privacy experience in health or IT
- Five years developing privacy policies, requirements, or controls
- Experience with PHIPA, HINP, and ESP requirements
- Familiarity with API functionality and EMR or HIS infrastructure
