This experienced specialist advises General Managers and operational leaders across Carlson’s construction, fabrication, marine, industrial, and heavy civil businesses. The work focuses on collective agreement administration, investigations, conflict resolution, and labour-management relationships. You will also support workforce planning and HR initiatives across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advise leaders on labour and employee relations matters
- Interpret and administer collective agreements and workplace policies
- Manage grievances, investigations, and dispute resolution
- Build relationships with union representatives and project teams
- Prepare labour relations reports and leadership recommendations

Requirements:

- Degree or diploma in labour relations, human resources, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of labour relations experience
- Experience in construction or unionized environments preferred
- Robust employment legislation and collective agreement knowledge
- Excellent communication, investigation, and conflict resolution skills
