Lead mechanical engineering for Primero across North America, applying mineral processing expertise and technical leadership from Canada or the United States.

As Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will guide complex engineering and design across Primero’s North American projects. The work spans EPC/EPCM environments, mechanical systems, equipment selection, plant layouts, procurement support, and client engagement. You will also mentor engineers and designers while supporting regional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as mechanical engineering technical expert across North American projects
- Lead design deliverables through feasibility and detailed engineering
- Review calculations, specifications, datasheets, equipment lists, and reports
- Support equipment packages, vendor evaluations, and technical bid assessments
- Contribute to mentoring, business development, and strategic initiatives

Requirements:

- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- 15+ years across engineering, project delivery, or site support
- Mechanical design experience in mining and mineral processing
- Principal or technical expert-level capability within EPC/EPCM environments
- Procurement, vendor management, site execution, leadership, and communication experience
