Canadian Tire Corporation seeks a Development Manager to oversee current stores, relocations, renovations, and expansions. You will support Canadian Tire and related banners, including Party City, Sport Chek, and Mark’s. The work spans site selection, procurement, approvals, construction commencement, and opening.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee zoning, permitting, entitlements, and municipal development approvals
- Manage projects, schedules, budgets, consultants, risks, and milestones
- Lead external consultants and coordinate municipal and regulatory approvals
- Prepare feasibility studies, site assessments, and business cases




- Collaborate across Real Estate, Construction, Finance, Legal, and Operations

Requirements:

- Progressive commercial real estate, land, planning, or retail development experience
- Strong knowledge of municipal approvals, zoning, permitting, and entitlements
- Project management experience overseeing budgets, schedules, consultants, and risks
- Experience with site feasibility, due diligence, selection, and risk analysis
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
