This engineering position provides staff-level technical advice across Distribution Planning, Beneficial Electrification, electric vehicle infrastructure, and distributed energy resource interconnections. You will lead moderate to large projects, develop improved techniques, and represent Xcel Energy on significant technical matters. The work supports technical documentation, field activities, and project decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead complex distribution planning projects using engineering standards and principles
- Develop improved techniques, procedures, standards, designs, testing, and calculations
- Provide field engineering oversight for testing, installation, inspections, and commissioning
- Coordinate research, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning project phases
- Resolve difficult technical and business matters with customers and vendors
