Lead a two-bedded children’s home in Newmarket, supporting young people with mental illness and significant self-injury risks. Collaborate with clinical and education teams.

As Cambian’s Children’s Home Registered Manager, you will assist the Head of Service with the home’s Statement of Purpose. The service supports children aged 12 to 18, helping them progress through tailored care plans. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, including the on-site school, clinical team, and teachers, supporting transitions from Merida after care-plan goals are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop comprehensive care plans for each young person
- Recruit, induct, develop, and retain a solid team
- Consult young people about the care they receive




- Address complaints and child protection concerns
- Manage the home within budget expectations

Requirements:

- Passion for improving young people’s lives
- At least two years’ relevant residential children’s care experience
- Ability to work with parents, carers, and professionals
- Ability to maintain quality standards and Statement of Purpose
- Expectation of achieving at least a Good Ofsted rating
