As Chief Inspector, you provide technical leadership for Mondi’s Pressure Equipment Integrity Management System. You oversee boilers, vessels, piping, tanks, and relief devices throughout design, inspection, repair, alteration, and maintenance. The position supports engineering, maintenance, and operations while supervising inspection personnel. You will interpret Alberta legislation, engineering codes, standards, and corporate procedures. This is a permanent, full time role in Hinton.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain PEIMS governance and technical oversight
- Develop risk-based inspection programs and strategies
- Review designs, modifications, findings, and corrective actions
- Oversee NDE activities and shutdown inspection scopes
- Maintain inspection records and regulatory documentation

Requirements:

- In-Service Pressure Equipment Inspector Certificate with boiler endorsement
- Minimum five years’ in-service pressure equipment inspection experience
- Understanding of Alberta pressure equipment legislation and safety codes
- Knowledge of ABSA, ASME, B31.1, B31.3, CSA-B51, and PCC-2
- Strong leadership, analytical, decision-making, and communication skills
