Apply electrical testing and rotating equipment expertise as a Wajax Electrical Service Field Technician supporting regional customers. This position includes 24/7 on-call service.

The Electrical Service Field Technician dismantles, troubleshoots, repairs, and reassembles electrical and mechanical apparatus. Work includes switchgear, protection relays, control systems, PLCs, drives, metering, and transformer testing. You will perform field and in-house servicing while providing technical customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform emergency, preventive maintenance, installation, and equipment repairs
- Test medium and low voltage electrical equipment
- Dismantle and reassemble rotating equipment and transformers
- Perform vibration analysis, balancing, and final run tests
- Prepare equipment, inspect jobs, and support protected shipping

Requirements:

- Three to five years in a similar role or equivalent experience
- Journeyman Red Seal Electrician Certificate or Electrical Engineering Technologist credential
- Three-plus years field service repair and commissioning experience
- Ability to interpret drawings, manuals, and schematic layouts
- Knowledge of electrical testing, rigging, vibration analysis, and field balancing
