Commercial construction estimating in Dartmouth calls for drawing interpretation, cost analysis, and disciplined tender coordination. PMco Inc. is seeking an Estimator for its growing team.

In this role, you will manage tenders from invitation through submission and project handover. You will develop quantity takeoffs and cost estimates, coordinate quotations, and prepare complete bid submissions. Your work will support a robust project pipeline while maintaining accurate project information and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage tender timelines, requirements, submissions, and project handovers
- Review drawings, specifications, addenda, and technical documents
- Prepare quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, proposals, and tender forms
- Coordinate pricing from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors




- Maintain estimating databases and organized project documentation

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in construction, engineering, architecture, or related fields
- Two or more years estimating commercial construction projects
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and estimating practices
- Microsoft 365 proficiency; Bluebeam or similar software experience is an asset
