Work on standard products in Cambridge, Ontario, using SolidWorks and basic programming while supporting Eclipse Automation’s on-site engineering team.

This co-op supports the Manager of Production Innovation and Standards. You will help develop modular design concepts, efficiency tools, procedures, and Aurora Platform Series improvements. The work combines engineering research, systems evaluation, documentation, and customer proposal content across Eclipse Automation’s manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop modular concepts for standard products and Aurora Platform improvements
- Research industry and competitive trends for product development
- Evaluate technologies and supplier products for integration
- Support BOM/MRP tooling trials and system connectors
- Document designs, procedures, and technical knowledge base content

Requirements:

- Currently enrolled in mechanical, mechatronics, or related engineering studies
- Coursework or project-level SolidWorks proficiency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and solid organizational skills
- Understanding of robotics, control systems, and machine operation
- Basic Python, VBA, SQL, or C# programming skills
