Geotab seeks an intern to research vehicles, understand complex technical systems, and support vehicle technology development. You will work across electrical, hardware, communications, firmware, software, mobile development, and big data teams. The internship develops vehicle support through research, data collection, and software tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reverse engineer electrical, hardware, communications systems, and protocols
- Document methods for collecting digestible vehicle data
- Design and implement software tooling for reverse engineering
- Analyze vehicle data using BigQuery and Google Cloud compute
- Assist product development through proofs of concept and beta testing

Requirements:

- Pursuing engineering or related degree or diploma
- Useful programming languages include C#, Python, SQL, and MATLAB
- Understanding of vehicle architectures, including hybrid and electric vehicles
- Robust communication, analytical, project management, and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and interest in vehicles or telematics

Develop vehicle systems expertise through reverse engineering, cloud analysis, software tools, and cross-functional Geotab projects.
