Handle drill strings and drilling fluids as a Derrickhand, monitoring circulation systems and working safely at heights in the rig derrick. This full time seasonal position requires reliable transportation and work away from home.

The Derrickhand supports safe, efficient drilling operations at the rig location. You will condition and circulate drilling fluids, operate related equipment, assist the Driller during tripping operations, and guide drill pipe. The work includes equipment maintenance, hazard controls, and accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Driller with drilling fluid system equipment maintenance
- Monitor fluid properties, circulation rates, and mud handling equipment
- Mix drilling chemicals and monitor mud weights and pump systems




- Guide and handle drill pipe during tripping operations
- Identify hazards and support corrective action implementation

Requirements:

- Previous drilling rig experience in a Derrickhand position
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing
- Fluent written and spoken English
