HIRING: HANDYMAN / PROPERTY MAINTENANCE PERSON

We are looking for a reliable, skilled maintenance person to help care for our rental properties in Brandon.

Responsibilities include:

- Completing general repairs and routine property maintenance.
- Handling minor plumbing repairs, painting, drywall repairs, carpentry, and repairs to doors, locks, and fixtures within your abilities.
- Identifying maintenance concerns and reporting work that requires a qualified tradesperson.
- Keeping work areas clean and safe and treating tenants? homes with respect.
- Communicating professionally and courteously with tenants and management.

The right person must have:

- A valid driver?s licence and their own reliable vehicle.
- Their own tools.
- Practical maintenance knowledge and experience.
- Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A trustworthy, honest, and dependable work ethic.
- Good people skills, patience, and a respectful manner when dealing with tenants.
- The ability to work independently, follow instructions, manage time, and complete jobs properly.
- Respect for tenants? privacy and personal belongings.
