SolidWorks and electromechanical design define this Senior Mechanical Designer role at SmartSkin in Fredericton, with regular office collaboration expected. You will design SmartSkin container twins and accessories from concept through production. The work combines assembly modeling, sealed enclosures, electronics packaging, and manufacturing processes. You will help products match customer geometry, weight, and centre of gravity while surviving production-line and wash-down demands. Key Responsibilities:

Own mechanical designs from initial concept through production parts Package sensors, batteries, cables, and electronics inside unique shapes Design sealed products for CIP and wash-down cycles Produce drawings with GD&T;, tolerance stacks, BoMs,



and procedures Mentor junior designers and coordinate with manufacturing partners Requirements:

Seven or more years of electromechanical product design experience Deep SolidWorks assembly-modeling skills Fluency in GD&T; and tolerance stack-up Manufacturing experience with CNC, moulding, and 3D printing Sealed enclosure design experience with ingress protection Apply mechanical design expertise, SolidWorks knowledge, and manufacturing judgment to SmartSkin’s production container twins in Fredericton.
