Sr. Mechanical Designer
Summary
Help develop advanced integrated assembly, inspection, and welding systems to automate manufacturing in the Automotive Sector.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems and complete machines involving mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic components using Solidworks
- Complete engineering calculations and analysis for all systems
- Work with whole team to diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, and develop solutions
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and colleagues with respect to all aspects of ongoing projects
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8+ years of mechanical design experience
- Relevant mechanical design experience in an industrial setting
- Experience designing pneumatics
- Advanced knowledge of Solidworks and AutoCAD
