Job Details: Job Location: Toyotetsu Canada - Simcoe, ON, Salary Range: $20.55, Toyotetsu Canada Inc is seeking a Accounting Co-op Student to join our Accounting Department for Winter Term starting January 2027!! Job Summary:

- The accounting co-op student works within the accounting department to perform daily accounts payable and general accounting activities.
- This person requires strong organizational skills and high attention to detail to ensure deadlines are met.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Daily Account Payable (A/P) tasks -print invoices, matching, vouchers, entering, scanning, filing.
- Review account statements, update reports and other record and review for accuracy
- Prepare monthly journal entries as required
- Preparation and review of monthly cheque runs
- Review and record Fixed Assets
- Maintain documentation for compliance to policies and procedures for internal audits
- Cross training with other roles in the department for vacation coverage
- Other tasks as required

Qualifications: Key skills and Characteristics:
- Enrolled in college/university for accounting/business
- Efficient, organized, and able to produce high-quality work under pressure and in a timely fashion
- Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility and confidentiality
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide range of office/plant team members
- High attention to detail, accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
