Communications Specialist (Senior) | 6-Month Contract | Toronto (Hybrid)

Infotek Consulting Services is hiring a senior Communications Specialist for a large Canadian financial institution in downtown Toronto. You’ll support the creation of content and materials for the office of the CISO, working inside a small, collaborative team of 5.

Contract details

- 6 months, starting ASAP
- Rate: $50 - $62/hr Incorporated
- Extension and conversion possible, based on business needs and performance
- Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day remote
- Monday to Friday, core business hours, 37.5 hours per week, no overtime
- Internal stakeholders only, no customer data access, no travel

What you’ll do

- Write and develop communications and materials for senior security leadership
- Support project work with clear, polished, deadline-ready deliverables
- Partner with internal teams, with roughly 2+ hours of meetings per day
- Adapt quickly as priorities and timelines shift
- Take part in onboarding and knowledge transfer on internal systems

Must-haves

- 8+ years in Communications




- 10+ years of corporate or professional experience
- Security and/or risk background
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong writing and documentation skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to pivot in a changing environment

Nice-to-haves

- Banking, financial services or other highly regulated workplace experience
- Technical writing experience
- Post-secondary education, ideally a Communications degree
