Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Engineer / End User Computing (EUC) Engineer L1 for an onsite, dispatch-based opportunity in Rimouski, Quebec, Canada.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in desktop support, hardware and software troubleshooting, end-user computing, and basic IT infrastructure support.

This is a freelance/independent contractor opportunity, where assignments are scheduled according to client requirements.

Please Note: This is not a guaranteed full time position. The number of assignments and working hours will depend on client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide onsite L1 desktop and end-user IT support.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Support Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and basic Active Directory tasks.
- Resolve basic LAN, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues.
- Perform hardware installations, replacements, and device deployments.
- Handle IT support tickets and coordinate with remote technical teams.
- Perform Smart Hands and basic IMAC activities.

Requirements:

- Experience in Desktop Support, EUC, IT Support, or Field Services.
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of networking and Active Directory.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to travel to onsite client locations in Rimouski, QC.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- French communication skills preferred.
