Boutique Awesome
Longueuil
Build the hype. Bring people together. Make it Awesome.
Your next outstanding idea could become the campaign people talk about, the event they bring a friend to, or the reason someone becomes a regular. At Boutique Awesome, you’ll help make that happen, right here in the store.
Who’s Boutique Awesome? ✨
We’re a trading card and hobby store with big ideas and an even bigger love for our community. Based in Saint-Hubert, we’ve been bringing people together through exciting games, huge events and shared passions for over a decade. We believe everyone deserves a seat at the table, whether you’re discovering your first game or competing for the top spot.
Inclusivity, creativity and a welcoming atmosphere are at the heart of what we’re building. We want every visit to feel Awesome, and we’re looking for someone ready to help us dream bigger and make it happen!
✨ A real seat at the table
Working directly with the owners, you’ll take charge of day-to-day marketing and events. You’ll personally create, launch and measure campaigns, lead and coach the events coordinator, and give the wider team a clear plan.
There’s room for your ideas and decisions within agreed priorities and budgets. You’ll be hands-on without having to design every graphic or run every tournament yourself.
What you will bring to life ?
- Create marketing people want to notice. Plan campaigns, write copy, create content, publish promotions and measure the response. Coordinate creative support where needed and improve the next round.
- Build an event and marketing calendar the whole team can use. Set priorities, deadlines and responsibilities,
and keep everyone’s work visible.
- Get the details ready for a great event: staffing, publisher requirements and deadlines, prizes, product availability, registration and team briefs. Coordinate with store leadership and purchasing.
- Give new people a reason to walk in and regulars a reason to return. Develop local partnerships, reach out to community groups and help make every visit welcoming.
- Help good people do great work. Coach respectfully, clarify expectations, remove obstacles and keep the plan moving within the team’s capacity and agreed budgets.
The fun should bring results
We want events people return to, marketing that brings people in and a team that feels prepared. You’ll track attendance, repeat participation, customer feedback, campaign results and spending, then use what you learn to make the next idea better.
Required qualifications ✅
- Education: a completed college or university credential in marketing, communications, business, event management or a related field (DEC, AEC, bachelor’s degree or equivalent). Relevant training combined with substantial experience may be considered; the minimum experience requirements below still apply.
- Experience: at least 5 years of relevant experience in marketing,
events or community growth, including at least 2 years leading a team or cross-functional projects.
- Hands-on marketing: a portfolio showing campaigns you personally created and executed across social media, email and web, with your contribution and measurable results.
- Event delivery: experience planning events, managing budgets and coordinating staffing, schedules and logistics.
- Measurement: ability to track campaign and event performance, prepare clear reports and use the results to improve the next plan.
- Digital tools: practical familiarity with digital advertising, email marketing, website or CMS publishing, analytics and a design tool such as Canva or an equivalent. You do not need to know every brand.
- Languages: strong professional proficiency in spoken and written French and English, sufficient to create marketing campaigns and communicate with customers, community members and partners in both languages. Native-level fluency or perfection is not required.
