Lead waterfront maintenance coordination for Thales in Halifax, combining operational leadership with health, safety, and environmental oversight. This hybrid full time role supports ship readiness. As Ship Maintenance Team Lead, you support the Ship Maintenance Team Manager during designated maintenance periods. You coordinate activities aboard ships, on the jetty, and from Thales trailers. The role helps Service Delivery Team members deliver responsibilities while maintaining safe, compliant, on-time execution. You also support stakeholder communication, reporting, and escalation.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day waterfront maintenance activities Support Waterfront Safety Plan execution and safety controls Oversee maintenance progress, audits, and quality evidence Coordinate FER priorities, workflow, and day-to-day issues Provide operational updates and attend progress meetings

Requirements:

Access to trade-controlled hardware, software, and technical information Controlled Goods Program Clearance NATO Secret Level Security Clearance Availability for rotational 24/7 on-call coverage Ability to support ship staff and Royal Canadian Navy personnel Support Thales ship maintenance execution in Halifax through waterfront leadership, safety coordination, stakeholder communication, and readiness reporting.
