Our client, a respected long-term care facility located in the Owen Sound, ON area, is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Housekeeping Aides to join their healthcare team. You'll be hired and onboarded to RhynoCare as an Independent Contractor. Maintain a clean, safe setting for residents utilizing infection control principles. Clean, disinfect, polish and dust residents’ rooms, offices and common areas including, but not limited to, rooms and equipment including: furniture, closets, windows, walls, floors, shower and tub rooms, washrooms, reception area, break rooms, etc. Cleaning, sanitizing, and performing duties, including but not limited to: routine, deep, terminal and discharge cleaning, floor cleaning and maintenance, and waste management according to schedules. Dust residents’ window ledges, door frames and closets. Perform daily/monthly cleaning of glass as needed. Clean washrooms of the entire facility. Clean, disinfect, and polish tubs, sinks, taps, toilets and mirrors. Do laundry for all the residents including personal clothing and linens.



Follow procedures for the cleaning and care of equipment. Responsible for the inventory and control of laundry supplies and products. Checking that supplies are adequate in housekeeping and equipment is in proper working order before commencing daily routine.
