Uses heavy machinery Manages work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors by completing and providing required written and electronic information (for example, expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs). Conducts price comparison of parts and travel-related costs. Orders parts and replacement equipment and tracking orders. Submits warranty claims. Complies with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations and guidelines. Ensures quality work is completed that complies with federal, state, and local regulations. Ensures contractors follow Walmart quality standards, safety requirements, and meet contract requirements. Transports equipment between facilities Maintains company vehicles in accordance with company policies and procedures. Coordinates and transports vehicles for required maintenance, ensuring beforehand that alternate driving support is arranged. Checks fuel and water levels, brake condition, signals, and lights. Operates, inspects, and maneuvers heavy machinery and powered equipment (for example, forklifts, material handling equipment, industrial machines, shop equipment, vehicles) in accordance with training, certification requirements, and safety procedures.
