Our Toronto-based client is hiring a DevOps/Cloud Engineer – Senior for a 4-month hybrid contract opportunity in Toronto, ON. The resource must be available to work onsite at the hiring manager's discretion.

Must Haves:

- Advanced AWS CDK and CloudFormation experience, including Python, JavaScript, reusable constructs, stack architecture, deployment controls, and rollback.
- Hands-on AWS Lambda and API Gateway engineering, including integrations, permissions, monitoring, error handling, and production troubleshooting.
- Experience with Amazon ECS, Application Load Balancer, and NextGen Connect (Mirth) in containerized AWS environments.
- Experience supporting Java and Python container applications, NextGen Connect channel deployments, configuration promotion, health checks, networking, and scaling.
- Robust AWS cloud operations and security experience, including IAM, least-privilege policies, VPC networking, security groups, observability, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
- Mandatory public sector experience.
