Own AI Platform projects from design through launch and on-callBuild gateway, runtime, and evaluation services for AI workloadsDevelop identity, quota, routing, caching, and failover controlsPartner on security guardrails and tool-access identity modelsMonitor systems through metrics, alerting, runbooks, and on-callRequirements:
4+ years designing and launching scalable backend systemsExperience with Python or Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and KubernetesProduction experience with LLMs, agents, or AI frameworksAbility to design significant, elegant, easy, extensible systemsBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experienceBring backend engineering, AI infrastructure, and distributed systems experience to affirm’s remote Canada AI Platform team.
