ELITS Canada seeks an experienced Azure API Engineer for a remote consulting assignment based in Canada. You will combine hands-on engineering with technical ownership across API management, developer portals, cloud infrastructure, and automation. The work supports continued Integration Hub development and its evolution into an internal developer platform.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure and enhance Microsoft Azure API Management
- Manage API onboarding, routing, gateways, and traffic controls
- Implement authentication, authorization, security, and lifecycle practices
- Maintain the central full stack developer portal
- Automate validation, deployment, monitoring, and reliability improvements

Requirements:

- Five years of relevant qualified experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
- Strong Microsoft Azure API Management experience
- REST, OpenAPI, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and React skills
- OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, CI/CD, and IaC experience
