The OpportunityAs a Senior ServiceNow Architect, you will shape how our clients design, implement, and evolve their ServiceNow environments. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders while providing architectural direction and hands-on guidance to delivery teams. Your scope will span ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, EAM, SPM, EA, ITAM, WSD, and cross-platform architecture, with opportunities to support the broader capabilities delivered by Optovia’s practice. You will also play a central role in developing our technical team—helping developers and other technical resources strengthen their skills, exercise sound judgment, and grow into future leaders. What You Will Do Lead Architecture and Technical Delivery
• Own solution architecture from discovery and roadmap development through design, implementation, and transition to support.
• Translate business objectives into secure, scalable, maintainable ServiceNow solutions.
• Design connected workflows, data models, integrations, and platform capabilities across multiple ServiceNow products.
• Establish architectural standards and guide decisions on configuration, customization, reuse, performance, and upgradeability.
• Guide CMDB and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) design, governance, data quality, and adoption.
• Lead design and code reviews, resolve complex technical challenges, and help teams manage dependencies and delivery risks.
• Help clients apply ServiceNow AI and intelligent automation to improve productivity and service delivery, with appropriate security and governance.
• Ensure solutions address security, privacy, accessibility, and operational requirements. Guide Clients and Deliver Value
• Lead workshops and architecture discussions with government and private sector stakeholders.
• Advise executives, business owners, and technical teams on platform strategy, delivery priorities, and implementation trade-offs.
• Help clients define success measures and connect technical decisions to service improvements, operational efficiency, adoption, and business value.
• Develop practical roadmaps that balance immediate priorities with long-term platform sustainability.
• Support proposals, estimates, technical presentations, and statements of work.
• Build trusted relationships through clear communication, sound advice, and consistent delivery. Lead and Mentor Our Team
• Provide technical leadership to ServiceNow developers, consultants, and other technical resources.
• Coach team members through solution design, development, troubleshooting, and client delivery.
• Create opportunities for learning through pairing, constructive feedback, knowledge-sharing sessions, and meaningful delegation.
• Help team members build development plans and progress toward technical and professional certifications.

• Strengthen Optovia’s delivery methods, reusable assets, and architecture practices. What You Bring Required Qualifications
• A minimum of 10 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, including substantial experience leading enterprise architecture and complex implementations.
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) credential.
• Broad experience across ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, EAM, SPM, EA, ITAM, and WSD, with deep expertise in multiple areas and the ability to architect across the platform.
• Solid knowledge of ServiceNow development, integrations, automation, security controls, data architecture, and platform governance.
• Proven ability to lead clients and multidisciplinary technical teams through complex delivery engagements.
• Experience translating business requirements into clear architectural designs, delivery plans, and technical guidance.
• Demonstrated success mentoring developers and technical resources.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• A passion for mentorship and helping others succeed.
• A passion for delivering value-driven services and achieving meaningful client outcomes.
• Current residence in Canada and legal eligibility to work in Canada.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Canadian federal government security clearance. Additional Assets

• Experience supporting private sector enterprise clients.
• Experience with SPM, EAM, FSM, LSD, and ongoing cross-platform support.
• Additional ServiceNow implementation or application development certifications.
• Experience with enterprise architecture governance, organizational change, and platform adoption.
