As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems. You will work with Mimir, Loki, Tempo, and Pyroscope across Grafana Cloud and on-premise solutions. The work includes distributed systems, cloud services, Kubernetes, and open-source observability projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and maintain reliable, performant, available critical systems
- Deliver features from ideation through customer operations
- Participate in on-call rotations and own operated services
- Contribute to open-source projects beyond team scope
- Mentor colleagues and participate in design discussions

Requirements:

- Experience developing software running in the Cloud
- Experience delivering projects from requirements through customer release
- Solid skills writing clean, robust, performant maintainable software
- Solid experience with Go or another programming language
- Experience with Kubernetes and distributed systems or microservices
