About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager / Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing, transportation, and distribution operations within the agri-food industry. This role will oversee plant operations, fleet management, supply chain activities, commercial performance, and continuous improvement initiatives while driving operational excellence and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead day-to-day manufacturing and plant operations
• Oversee transportation, dispatch, fleet utilization, and maintenance
• Drive operational efficiency, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
• Partner with sales teams to support revenue growth and customer needs
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability
• Lead production planning, inventory management, and supply chain activities
• Develop and coach operational teams while fostering accountability and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma,



or Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Track KPIs and operational metrics to support business growth Required

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, Agriculture, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of leadership experience in:
• Agri-Food
• Food Manufacturing
• Food Processing
• Recycling
• Industrial Manufacturing
• Robust experience managing:
• Plant Operations
• Supply Chain
• Transportation/Fleet Operations
• Production Planning
• Quality Control
• Proven P&L;, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management experience
