About the Role
Join a B2B AI team building an AI-powered engineering design product for physical systems. You will help deliver product improvements from early prototypes through production, with significant ownership and a focus on AI-assisted development.
What You'll Do
• Partner with frontend engineering to improve the product interface and accelerate delivery.
• Take on increasingly backend-focused full-stack work, including features, infrastructure, and systems.
• Own work end to end, from architecture through deployment and reliability.
• Establish effective practices for agent-driven software development across the team.
• Collaborate with forward-deployed engineers and AI researchers to prototype and improve product ideas for industrial users. What We're Looking For
• Three to ten years of software or full-stack engineering experience, including startup experience.
• Robust backend-focused full-stack skills, with solid frontend capabilities and experience building complex web products.
• Experience taking products or major features from concept to production, with ownership of architecture, deployment, and reliability.
• Hands-on use of AI coding agents and the ability to review and debug generated code.
• Experience with .
NET, React, and TypeScript.
• Interest in physical systems, engineering design, CAD, or simulation. Compensation & Benefits Base salary is $200,000 to $275,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available. Location Hybrid, with the primary location in Canada. The role requires spending one week onsite every six weeks in San Mateo, California.
