Job Summary Are you a certified Health Care Aide who prides themselves on delivering superior, high-acuity physical care? We are seeking a dedicated, highly skilled, and compassionate care qualified to provide exceptional, one-on-one support for an elderly gentleman who has transitioned home from the Deer Lodge Centre in Winnipeg. This is an exclusive, premium private-duty position. We require an elite caregiver who provides a stellar level of clinical attentiveness, dignity, and specialized mobility support. You will work in coordination with a public Home Care team that visits 4 times daily to assist with care routines. This is a non-live-in role, but it offers a unique, subsidized housing perk located directly within the same property for the ideal candidate. Schedule & Hours Primary Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. Flexibility Required: An open, adaptable schedule is necessary, as there is potential to work some evening and weekend shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
Superior Health Aid Support: Maintaining an elite standard of clinical observation, executing care plans with maximum precision, and keeping detailed health logs for the family and medical team. Direct Patient Care: Focusing entirely on the patient's personal comfort, hygiene, and physical health needs. (Note: Meal preparation is not required for this role). Collaborative Care: Welcoming and working seamlessly alongside the scheduled public Home Care team during their 4 daily visits. Physical Transfers & Mobility: Utilizing immaculate body mechanics, proper techniques, and assistive equipment to safely move, transfer, and reposition the patient. Candidates must be physically capable of managing heavy physical transfers independently or in tandem. Skin Care Management: Managing a strict, gentle turning and repositioning schedule during your shifts to maintain the client's absolute comfort and flawless skin integrity. Qualifications & Requirements Certification: Certified Health Care Aide (HCA) designation is required. Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and fully capable of performing demanding physical transfers and patient movement.

Experience:
Proven experience in high-acuity, private duty, or long-term care settings (experience with Deer Lodge Centre protocols or similar care standards is an asset). Attributes: Exceptional reliability, skilled boundaries, high emotional intelligence, and a deep commitment to patient dignity.
