• Prepare working papers, financial statements & compilations.
• Assist with audits, reviews & tax engagements.
• Investigate discrepancies and problem-solve with your team.
• Collaborate directly with clients, managers & partners.
• Gain experience with industry software (Caseware, TaxPrep, QuickBooks, Sage).
• Bring your curiosity and passion to everything you do What You’ll Bring to the Role:
• Applicants must have completed their university degree and be prepared and eligible to enroll in the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Business Administration (Specializing in Accounting is preferred);
• Previous public accounting related experience is an asset;
• Knowledge of accounting standards and the Income Tax Act.
• Previous client/customer service related experience is an asset;
• The ability to work effectively as a member of the team;
• The ability to effectively communicate with peers and clients both written and orally; and
• Experience working with, or familiarity with accounting and tax software such as Caseware, Tax Prep, Quickbooks and Simply Accounting is beneficial. Perks of Joining Us:
