AgeCare's Personal Support Worker provides care to residents and helps identify their needs. The position monitors care against established plans, documents information, and reports findings to a supervisor. It also supports infection prevention and control practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide resident care according to established care plans
- Observe residents and report findings to supervisors
- Document information about resident care as directed
- Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops
- Follow IPAC policies and procedures

Requirements:

- Graduate of a Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma program
- Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
- Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
- Meet Ontario Community Support Association standards
- Know simple treatments, sanitation, and geriatric care
