Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited seeks a permanent full time Transportation Planner for Flex Coverage within P&H; Milling. This role covers planned or unplanned absences, coordinates daily transportation activity, and supports timely pickups and deliveries. You will transition between planning assignments while working with production, customer service, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide planning and dispatch coverage during team member absences
- Coordinate shipments, pickups, deliveries, and transportation arrangements
- Communicate dispatch instructions and schedule updates
- Monitor progress, changes,



disruptions, and service issues
- Maintain shipment records in Descartes, Samsara, and other systems

Requirements:

- Three years of transportation planning, dispatching, and load planning experience
- Education in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field
- Knowledge of Ontario transportation regulations and Hours of Service
- Microsoft Excel and TMS proficiency with accurate recordkeeping
- Weekend on-call participation and occasional after-hours dispatch support
