As Data Engineer (Basketball Strategy), you will build infrastructure for tracking, event, scouting, and performance data. Reporting to the Assistant General Manager and Senior Vice President of Basketball Strategy, you will support analysts, coaches, and basketball operations staff. Your work will connect reliable data to roster, health, performance, and coaching decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design cloud databases and organized basketball data models
- Create and monitor pipelines from providers, APIs, and internal sources
- Build validation checks, quality alerts, and source reconciliation




- Connect databases with Python notebooks and dashboards
- Document pipelines, definitions, processes, and maintenance guidance

Requirements:

- Two or more years in data engineering or related work
- Advanced SQL and Python skills preferred
- Cloud data experience with AWS, Databricks, or GCP
- Git experience and maintainable, documented coding habits
- Valid passport and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and travel
