Support adolescent residents as a Heart Helper at Luke's Place, using supervision and strong communication during weekday evening shifts. Ma Mawi Chi Itata Centre, Inc. offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 4pm to 12am, at its six-bed residence.

This Heart Helper position serves young males aged 11-14 in a 24-hour facility providing assessment and support services. You will support caseloads and healing plans, supervise residents, and help facilitate program development. The work centers on caring, support, encouragement, and helping residents build capacity toward their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support caseloads and healing plans with adolescent males
- Provide supervision and support to residential participants




- Develop and facilitate programs for residents
- Contribute cooperatively as a team member
- Work under stressful situations when required

Requirements:

- Child and Youth Care Diploma or acceptable equivalent
- Related experience; residential care experience is an asset
- Knowledge of Child Welfare Legislation and Standards
- Robust oral and written communication skills
- First Aid, CPR, NVCI, and valid Class 5 license
