This Asset Protection Specialist protects assigned stores by executing internal and external theft strategies. The work includes investigations, physical security, safety programs, environmental compliance, and loss prevention tools. You will communicate with store management, associates, APSS, and MAPM while supporting store objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prevent financial loss from theft, fraud, and organized retail crime
- Conduct surveillance and check facility physical security
- Detain and interview apprehended shoplifters under applicable procedures
- Write reports, preserve evidence, and interact with law enforcement
- Drive safety, environmental, and shrink elimination program execution

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of related loss prevention experience preferred
- Robust Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office knowledge
- Effective communication, negotiation, analysis, and issue resolution skills
- Valid security guard or private investigator license where applicable
