Support resident therapy programs in Aurora as a Physiotherapy Assistant, using treatment techniques and safe mobility assistance. Work 41.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday.

Working under direct or indirect Physiotherapist supervision, you will help residents pursue treatment goals. Duties include group exercises, one-on-one activities, progress documentation, and monitoring health changes. This position serves a Long Term Care client and requires close resident contact.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with group exercises for Long Term Care residents
- Lead assigned one-on-one activities as directed
- Document treatments and resident progress after sessions
- Assist walking, sitting, and safe resident transfers
- Apply ice packs, ultrasound, TENS, and hot wax

Requirements:

- Physiotherapy Assistant graduate or equivalent qualification
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure
- Explicit communication with elderly residents and supervisors
- Current Vulnerable Sector police check required
- Valid TB test and chest X-ray required
