Provide evidence-informed nursing care as a Registered Nurse at Prince County Hospital in Summerside, specializing in Surgery and Restorative Care. Rotating shifts include every second weekend.

Health PEI seeks Registered Nurses for four full-time, temporary General Inpatient and Outpatient Services positions. The RN coordinates safe, quality care across the continuum through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will develop individualized care plans, educate patients, and collaborate with the healthcare team. Surgery or Restorative Care experience is required, while acute care experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct, evidence-informed nursing care to patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Develop individualized care plans and discharge planning
- Educate patients and verify essential care information
- Delegate nursing functions and assign patient care tasks

Requirements:

- Baccalaureate Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- Entry level nursing experience
- Surgery or Restorative Care experience required
- Active or eligible Prince Edward Island nursing registration
- Current CPR, TLR, WHMIS, and All Hazards Codes
