Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in private homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure their safety and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring assistance with their daily routines.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and hygienic workplace




- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls or injuries
- Support clients experiencing dementia or other cognitive impairments with specialized care techniques
- Follow care plans and document services provided accurately

Skills

- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to administer medications safely and accurately
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing care needs and schedules

Pay: $19.50-$20.00 per hour
