Overview

The Server/Head Server delivers attentive hospitality, supports smooth restaurant service, and helps guests enjoy a welcoming, well-organized dining experience. This role combines serving guests with coordinating service tasks and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests, take orders, answer menu questions, and provide timely, courteous service throughout their visit.
- Enter orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS, process payments, and handle cash responsibly.
- Coordinate with colleagues and kitchen staff to communicate requests, support food preparation, and keep service moving efficiently.
- Follow food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices while maintaining clean dining and service areas.
- Use basic math and time management to manage orders, check transactions,



and prioritize guest needs; suggest suitable items when appropriate.

Skills

Required: Clear communication, customer service, serving, basic math, time management, POS use, cash handling, and secure food handling support accurate orders and dependable service. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, kitchen, or broader food industry experience; familiarity with Micros POS, cashiering, food preparation, sanitation, guest services, hospitality, food safety, and thoughtful upselling. Your impact: Coordinated service helps guests receive accurate orders promptly and enables colleagues to work smoothly.

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
