Wee World Day Care Inc. is seeking a passionate, energetic, motivated, and responsible Early Childhood Educator II or III to join our growing team as a Program Supervisor.

We are a non-profit childcare organization dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports the emotional, social, physical, and developmental needs of children. We believe in the importance of play-based learning, positive relationships, and creating meaningful experiences that encourage children to learn, explore, and grow.

We are looking for an individual who demonstrates robust leadership skills, enjoys working collaboratively with others, and is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education.

Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Work under the direction of the Executive Director and Assistant Director to coordinate, develop, and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor programming.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to childcare staff in the daily operation of the program.
- Plan and supervise activities that support children's individual interests, abilities, and developmental needs.
- Ensure appropriate materials, equipment, and learning environments are prepared and maintained.
- Regularly evaluate program quality, identify areas for improvement, and communicate progress or concerns to management.
- Actively participate in daily programming and engage positively with children.
- Support children's physical, emotional, and social well-being while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
- Promote positive guidance practices and appropriate supervision.
- Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with children, families, coworkers, and management.
- Ensure daily cleaning, housekeeping, and organizational responsibilities are completed.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to continuous program improvement.
- Support and maintain compliance with childcare licensing requirements, centre policies, and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Must hold a valid Manitoba Early Childhood Educator II (ECE II) or Early Childhood Educator III (ECE III) classification.
- Minimum of two years of experience working as an ECE II or ECE III.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be willing to obtain a Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Strong understanding of child development, play-based learning, and developmentally appropriate programming.
- Ability to problem-solve, take initiative, and adapt to the changing needs of a busy childcare environment.
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Pay: From $30.81 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
