Job Overview

- We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Framer to support residential and commercial construction, renovation, and restoration projects.
- The role involves building, installing, repairing, and finishing structural components while following project plans, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Work may include framing, concrete work, drywall, siding, and other carpentry tasks. Applicants should be comfortable working on active job sites and performing physical work, including heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine dimensions, materials, and work sequences.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood framing, structural components, and other building materials.
- Perform general carpentry and woodworking, including layout, fitting, fastening, and finish work.
- Build and remove forms for concrete placement and assist with concrete forming and concrete finishing.
- Install, repair, or replace drywall and siding as project needs require.
- Assist with restoration work, including repairing or replacing damaged building components.




- Safely use and maintain hand tools and power tools; follow job-site procedures when working around heavy equipment.
- Coordinate with crew members and other trades to keep work progressing safely and efficiently.
- Maintain an orderly work area, handle materials carefully, and follow applicable safety requirements.
- Perform related tasks such as basic welding or equipment operation when qualified and assigned.

Experience

- Previous construction experience and practical carpentry or framing skills are preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics, take accurate measurements, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Familiarity with concrete forming, concrete finishing, drywall, siding, or restoration work is an asset.
- Competence using common hand and power tools; experience with heavy equipment operation or welding is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical job duties, including standing, bending, climbing, and heavy lifting, while following secure work practices.
- A dependable, detail-oriented approach and willingness to work collaboratively on a construction crew are essential.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
