We are a busy local gift shop preparing for our peak holiday season! We specialize in beautiful, high-quality gift baskets & boxes and need an enthusiastic team member to help us assemble orders, keep the shop running smoothly, and bring holiday cheer to our community.
The Role:
This is a fast-paced, hands-on seasonal position. Your main focus will be assembling gift baskets to our exact presentation standards and keeping up with our high volume of holiday orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately picking inventory and assembling beautiful gift baskets based on product "menus".
- Wrapping, assembling and adding a pretty bow to baskets securely for pickup or shipping.
- Assisting with general shop duties, including restocking shelves and organizing materials.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience is not required! We will train you on how to build the perfect basket. However, due to the short and busy nature of the holiday season, you must bring the following skills:
- Quick Learner: Able to grasp assembly steps quickly and maintain a steady, efficient pace.
- Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for long periods and working with your arms extended while assembling.
- Strength: Able to occasionally lift and move boxes or gift crates weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Communication:
Fluent in English to accurately read order sheets and communicate with the team.
- Reliability: High energy, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic during our busiest months.
