Shape CAE’s defense portfolio strategy in Montreal through capital allocation, M&A; origination, and market intelligence. Support enterprise growth from the St. Laurent office. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, this Director brings defense-domain depth to enterprise strategy. You will evaluate portfolio adjacencies, build or buy decisions, partnerships, and technology opportunities. The role works alongside Defense & Security, Corporate Development, and corporate strategy colleagues. Key Responsibilities:

Quantify defense growth gaps and portfolio moves Develop capital and capability deployment recommendations Build acquisition and partnership candidate pipelines Prepare executive analysis for CEO, committee, and Board Map emerging technologies for defense capabilities Requirements:

Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in a related field 12+ years in strategy, development, consulting, or defense Experience with portfolio strategy or capital allocation Robust command of defense markets and procurement Direct M&A;, partnership, or technology scouting experience Bring defense strategy, financial judgment, and transaction expertise to CAE’s enterprise portfolio and above-market growth agenda.
