As a professional Automotive (Cadillac) Parts Technician, you will effectively and efficiently provide parts solutions for front and back counter sales and ensure the Cadillac dealership inventory is maintained.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assists all customers (retail, internal, and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
- Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information.
- Reviews shop estimates to ensure the ordered parts are correct, and all pricing aligns with the estimate.
- Pulls and fills orders from stock.
- Maintains inventory as required.
- Notifies the service advisor and the customer when unique ordered parts have been received.
- Notifies the shop when all parts have arrived and when they will be delivered.
- Pulls orders for the shop, ensuring all parts are tagged with a job number.
- Follows up on back-ordered parts.
- Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
- Keeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special-order parts.
- Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.




- Participates in all training programs that are made available.
- Keeps current on recent products and product updates.
- Maintains professional appearance.
- Shipping & receiving duties as well as delivery driving.
- Other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Journey Person Parts Technician or pursuing the designation or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years)
- Or a combination of completing a one-year Parts Management Technician Certificate Program and 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
