What You’ll Do:
As a Seasoned Sales Associate, you’ll be a vital part of the Dartmouth store team, reporting directly to the Store Manager. Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting customers on the phone & in person with recommendations and inquiries
- Promoting store promotions.
- Handling customer concerns and special orders professionally.
- Maintaining organized displays and ensuring proper stock levels.
- Assisting with receiving, stocking and labelling merchandise.
- Maintaining store cleanliness and organization
- Assisting customers in loading products to their vehicle/truck
- Promoting good safety and sanitization measures and housekeeping of the store and the department
- Learning and educating on the products and services the company has to offer
- Recommending improvements to the store procedures and systems
- Maintaining good working relations with all Head Office Departments and to be receptive to testing and evaluating of any new procedures or systems from time to time as required by management.
- Acquiring a forklift license and performing forklift/warehouse duties (if required)
- Assisting with company events such as Garage Sale & Tent Sales at your store or other locations if needed.
- Lending support to other departments when needed.
- Any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.
- Being available to work on Saturdays.
Who You Are:
We’re looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable individuals who are ready to grow with us.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Retail, customer service or sales experience.
- Knowledge of woodworking, metalworking and industrial tools and machinery
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Ability to lift upto 50 lbs as needed
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
