In addition to our flagship store in Cranbrook, we operate a second location in Kimberley and a production farm just outside Cranbrook. Overview

As part of a friendly, close-knit team, you'll help manage our inventory, serve our customers, and maintain and secure our equipment, grounds and buildings. Our business is seasonal, and spring and early summer bring a fast-paced, high-volume environment. We're looking for someone who consistently follows all health, safety, and security protocols and enjoys providing a courteous and skilled service.

What You’ll Do

Maintenance and Security

- Perform daily security procedures to keep our staff safe and secure all company property
- Develop a working knowledge of all buildings, out-buildings and grounds
- Perform minor repairs to grounds, buildings and equipment
- Complete major projects with other maintenance and yard team members

Warehouse Duties

- Unload supplier deliveries and place inventory items in appropriate storage slots
- Protect and maintain inventory to keep products ready for sale
- Transfer inventory between locations by hand and/or using equipment
- Keep the warehouse, sheds, storage cans, racks,



and yard spaces clean and tidy

Customer Service

- Develop a working knowledge of all products in the Yard to help answer customer questions
- Assist customers with loading gardening, feed and fencing products including the operation of equipment to load bulk inventory items
- Assemble special orders and ensure they are fulfilled correctly
- Deliver products to customers throughout the East Kootenays
- Load and deliver products to and from other Top Crop locations
- Assist other departments as required

What You Bring

- Handy-man and basic mechanical skills or very good aptitude to learn
- Able to repeatedly lift 25kg throughout the shift
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive and team-oriented attitude
- Valid Drivers’ Licence (mandatory requirement)
- Willing to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, seasonal retail environment

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
