Position Summary

Job Structure

This is a full-time hourly wage position. Work schedule includes weekends and holidays as required. Paid vacation accrual at 4%. Benefits are available after 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete the daily morning setup of our produce wet wall, including proper icing, stocking, and merchandising of fresh vegetables.
- Trim, clean, and prepare fresh vegetables to maintain a full, fresh, and attractive wet wall throughout the day.
- Plan and complete vegetable preparation to ensure sufficient product is ready for the following day's opening.
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and rotation, removing any items that do not meet our standards.
- Maintain proper icing, product handling,



and storage practices to preserve freshness and minimize waste.
- Keep work areas, preparation stations, and the wet wall clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Assist with other fruit and vegetable preparation, stocking, and general Produce Department duties as needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous grocery, produce, or fresh-food preparation experience preferred.
- Strong knife skills and experience with vegetable trimming, cutting, and preparation are considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in product quality and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently while managing daily priorities.
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable performing physically demanding work.
- Availability for early morning shifts is required.

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
