Duties

- Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing for various events and meal services
- Prepare food items in accordance with established recipes, dietary guidelines, and safety standards
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Support kitchen operations by chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling ingredients efficiently
- Cook a variety of dishes using knife skills and culinary techniques to ensure quality and consistency
- Set up serving stations, buffet lines, or catering displays with attention to presentation and cleanliness




- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation timelines and ensure timely service
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations

Experience

- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
- Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service within the food industry
- Familiarity with menu planning, meal prep, and catering operations enhances effectiveness in this role
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques are essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is required
- Experience working in kitchen environments or with food service teams will support your success
